Hello, my name is Nicolas DeGroat and I am a Life scout with troop 192 in New Jersey. I have been a boy scout practically my whole life and now it is time for me to start my Eagle Project which will earn me my Eagle Scout rank, which is the highest achievement a boy scout can earn. My project will be at the American Legion in Wayne and will consist of modifying an existing flowerbed, removing and adding a new sidewalk, repairing 2 benches, and adding a memorial sign for the veterans.

Welcome back from your summer vacations and scouting adventures.  We had an active summer with a week of Summer Camp at NoBe followed up by another week long high adventure trip to Floodwood and even had a few scouts participate in NYLT over the summer break.

My Eagle Scout Service Project to build a notice board in the Vale Road entrance at the Laurelwoods Arboretum. I will be cutting wood, assembling a frame, and digging two, 3 ‘ holes which will hold the posts and be cemented.
