About Us

Troop 192 has been chartered by Immaculate Heart of Mary Church since 1992. 2017 will mark our 25th Anniversary!

During the school year we meet every Thursday in the lower meeting room at IHM.

Troop 192 is a Scout led Troop and one of the most active Troops in our area. We attend Boy Scout summer camp every July and have at least one camping trip a month from September through June. We have had numerous boy's achieve the rank of Eagle Scout and are proud of our seven newest Eagle Scouts who attained Eagle in 2016.

In the last 3 years we have had a High Adventure Program for our older Scouts. We have spent a week canoeing in Floodwood Scout Reservation in the beautiful Adirondaks, and attended BSA's High Adventure Camps at Sea Base in the Flordia Keys and Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico.

The troop has received recognition for winning the Klondike Derby in 2014 & 2016 and finishing in second place in 2015. Our future plans include trips to Gettysburg, Washington's Crossing, PA and Ramapo Valley Districts 2017 Baconfest! Camporee.
